one two miss a few...

right ok,
i know i just started this blogging malarkey, and ive missed two already!! ive had a really busy weekend, so ill start from sat:

SATURDAY
got up to get ready to go to Linda's for the first part of the two day dance boot camp, was running on time (for a wee change) then Kai dropped a bombshell... he needed me to take him to his football match!!! his lift hadn't turned up for him!
so out i went, dropped him off, got back home, finished getting ready, left the house and ended up only 20mins late for Linda's! WOW! but an even bigger wow, SHE wasn't ready yet!!! WOW!!!!
went on to the dance house. so from 12 till 6pm we danced to "Mr postman" and a few other 60s songs.
left there, went to pub to meet mum, then went on to a really nice Chinese to take out mum for her mothers day dinner. really lovely time. went home to Linda's and almost straight to bed.


SUNDAY (mothers day)
got up feeling a bit sore from yesterdays dancing, only to do it all again today.
learned the rest of the routine today, all three of them! had a better time today than yesterday, think because we all know each other a bit better. makes me want to do these kind of things much more often, even bought a pair of dance shoes for myself!
at the back of 6 we left to head home. Linda made sure i got on to the motorway alright from Govan.
got home after missing my wee family all weekend and in anticipation to what Kai had told me to guess what he got for me for mothers day.
had to ask him where my card was, he told me to look at me emails. i thought this must be some kind of clue, maybe a wee treasure hunt or something. ooooh how exciting, i said to myself.
so i opened my email from him, he had drew me a cute picture for "mums day". i asked him if he got me a card? "no mum, i cant afford it" he said. so i asked Steven if he got me one from baby Dex. "i totally forgot" he said. i thought he was joking, so i didn't say anything. only to find out that he really didn't get me one from Dex!!!
i was straight on to the txt to grass him up to my mum,Linda and billy! wait till fathers day, i told him. see how he feels.
he really thinks he's got away with it, and its my b/day Tuesday, so we'll see if i get a card then. huh?


MONDAY
ok, now on to today;
got a wee long lie in this morning, got up at 9.25am. had another go at Steven for not getting me a mothers day card from Dex. i said he could get a belated one for me. he did, i shouldn't have said anything, just to see if he would have thought of it himself... i know he wouldn't have, but that would have had me in a mood for days!! cant be bothered with moods.
went to shops for some much needed shopping.
mum was going to come through for me to take her to the outlet shops, but it was too windy for her to drive her car with her sore hand, but i still have her bank card, which i was supposed to give her back on sat night, but we both forgot about it, so ill have to take it to her tomorrow.
came home, seen to Dex, Kai came home from school, made dinner, got Dex ready for bed, watched telly for a bit, now I'm writing this and then I'm going to pour myself a wee vodie since i didn't have one for M/day last night. just the one, that's all i have left anyway.
